Australia announces Federal Elections in August 2010.

Regardless of who wins the elections, significant immigration changes are expected among which are;

• A cut in the number of visas issued per year
• Tougher requirements for English language proficiency.

The Canadian Government has announced a further revision to of the Occupations List which has seen a number of occupations removed. Other changes such as limitations on the number of skills allowed per year and mandatory English proficiency tests.

The new coalition government in the United Kingdom has already reduced the number of visas and permits that will be issued to Non-EU Passport holders.
