Living and working in Australia can be a fun and exciting adventure. In order to establish citizenship, whether temporary or long term, a visa is required. The Visitor Australia visa is for people who are coming into the country for vacation or business. The duration of the visa can be no longer than 12 months.
The Partner visa was established to connect two people who are currently married to, engaged to or in a common law relationship with an Australian. This visa covers couples who are of the same sex and in a long term relationship with a permanent resident Australian.
The Student visa program was created to give immigrants the right to study in Australian schools. There are different forms of Student visa depending on the higher education sought in the country.
The Graduate Skilled visa for Australia immigration is for students who wish to stay in Australia long term. This visa focuses on those who wish to reside in Australia after completing at least 2 years of study in the country.
The Working Holiday visa gives the person temporary Australia immigration rights. These rights allow the visa holder to travel all over Australia for holiday while taking part time employment from time to time.
The Business visa qualifies a business person for four years of temporary residency in Australia in order to establish a business. If after the four years, the business is successful, the business person can then apply for permanent residence to the country.
The Employee Sponsored visa allows a worker to live in Australia and work with a company that was unable to find a local or Australian employee for the job. There are both temporary visas lasting up to four years and permanent visas under the Employee Sponsored visa program.
The Parent Australia visa is offered to the parent of an Australian citizen or permanent resident via Australia immigration. There are three sub genres of the Parent visa depending on whether the parent will be working, is aged or a member of an entire family with permanent Australian residency.
Australia immigration requires application for the proper visa and payment of all fees associated with the application. Some types of Australia immigration will require additional fees for health care costs. Many of the visas offered will require research of Australia immigration information regarding the length of time the visa will remain active and the prerequisites required for an approval of the Australia immigration visa application. Many of the Australia immigration visas offer an online assessment in order to pre-qualify the potential immigrant for the specific type of visa.
